Fitness Swim

Our pools offer fantastic aquatic programmes!
Swim for fitness or fun with friends or with the family, swimming is a great activity to keep you healthy.

Fitness Swim:

Fitness Swim sessions are open to all however please note that part of the pool will be laned and if space allows there will be a fast, medium and slow lane.

Lane Swimming etiquette applies and will be displayed at the pool side.

Lane Swimming Etiquette:

To ensure everyone gets the most out of our lane swimming sessions please follow these simple guidelines and are considerate to other swimmers.
Please…

  • Pick a lane most suitable to your ability before entering the pool.
  • Wait until swimmers have turned and pushed off before entering the pool.
  • Swim clockwise/anti-clockwise according to the lane that you are in.
  • Stay as close to the lane line as you can manage while swimming in a busy session.
  • Be aware of other swimmers entering the pool.
  • Be willing to switch lane if your swimming speed is not similar to the others in the lane.
  • Rest in the corner of the lane when you stop.
  • Give way to faster swimmers at the end of the lane.
  • Be polite to other swimmers.
