All ages will be getting into the groove this month at the Dome Leisure Centre in Mildenhall, thanks to some funky new fitness classes starting next week.
Adults will be able to get down and strut their stuff to the new hip hop dance class called Street Dance which begins next Tuesday from 7pm to 8pm. Or for something even hotter, try out the new Zumba classes which will fuse Latin and international music to create an exciting and effective fitness routine on Sundays from 10.45am to 11.30am (from 18 January). There’s even a class for adults to fine tune their skills on the SHOKK dance mat so they will be able to hold their own amongst the youngsters and show the kids a move or too next time they’re in the arcade! In the Groove classes will begin next Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. Prices for all adult classes start from £2.60.
Juniors who want to be able to keep up with their parents will be able to sign up for Junior Street Dance on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm (aimed at 8-15 year olds) for £2.50 and toddlers will be able to have a good sing song and play musical instruments in the new Music Mayhem class for under 5s starting next Wednesday from 10am to 10.30am. Music Mayhem also includes use of Pirate Island after the session.
For those less musically inclined, there is a new Tots Football class starting next Saturday 17 January from 9am to 9.45am, also followed by a session in Pirate Island included in the price of £2.30. The Tots football is also available at Brandon Leisure Centre on Saturdays from 9am to 10am.
